Chartered accountant and Company Secretary degree have tremendous scope in the country. Having them in the company is the need of the hour for every organization, whether government or private. The fact that every organization needs a control on its finance, for its own survival, throws openly the tremendous career prospects to these designations. Where Chartered Accountancy is a dynamic, challenging and rewarding profession, CS requires professional delicacy, efficiency, understanding of law and financial matters. Alternatively, you may also take up consultancy work with small and big firms. The opportunity in both areas is huge, while the need of the hour is to grab an opportunity by getting a professional degree in either chartered accounting or company secretary. The curriculum for pursuing CA and CA are different and you have to find out in which area you are strong and comfortable. Depending upon your ability to understand accounts or better understanding in law can better help you to decide which career to pursue in. Career as a Company Secretary or a Chartered Accountant is not only prestigious and financially rewarding but also carries with it a high level of job satisfaction You need to spend 3-4 to complete CA or CS and both requires training period after the completion of the course.
