    I want to do an MBA from correspondence..Please let me know whether Ignou or symbiosis would be better?

    Both IGNOU and SYMBOISIS are reputed universities of India and both run distant learning program. You can opt for MBA correspondence from any one of them as both are rated equally. But this is to inform you that to do an MBA from IGNOU you need to clear an entrance test called “OPENMAT” you can easily find advertisements inviting application for the course in all the leading newspaper during the month of February and August. Where as Symboisis does not have any entrance test for taking admission in MBA. To do an MBA from Symboisi you need to be a graduate from a recognized university or diploma holder from a prestigious polytechnic with minimum 5 years of supervisory experience. There is a slight variation in their fees structure IGNOU charges 40k for the course, Symboisis has 45K annually for the same. But this is to be advised that the fee structure of both the institutes keeps varying hence, please surf the INTERNET to know the current fees of both. The entrance examination of IGNOU takes place twice a year ( February and August) but in Symboisis admissions take place in April and May every year.
