The Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Science, was founded in 1995. It is the first government –private initiative in the region. SMU is also being recognized by the University Grants Commission and has been approved by the Government of India. There are two constituent institutes in SMU, they are- Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS) and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT). Fee details of Annamalai University Distance Education

The processing fee of the university is Rs. 1000 while University fees per year is Rs. 10,000 and mode pf payment is demand draft (DD) in favor of the Director, Directorate of Distance Education Annamalai University. Any cash, cheques, pay orders, postal orders and money orders will not be accepted under any circumstance.

Tuition fees and mandatory fees are approved by the Annamalai University Distance Education and State of Tamil Nadu. In order to avoid inconvenience to the students and facilitate the consolidation of accounts in the office Fee is charged during admission of the student. Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted in any case.

The processing fee of different programs is different, like – for MBA Design Management, the processing fee is Rs. 3000/-, for Bachelor of Mass Communication, B.Sc Fashion design, Textile Design, Interior Design it is Rs. 2500/- and Rs.2000 for advanced diploma, Diploma in Fashion, Textile, Interior Design and Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising etc.
