CCDP

CCDP stands for Cisco Certified Design Professional, it is Cisco’ professional level certification designed to reflect and experience in network design. The program validates advanced knowledge of network design concepts and principles. A CCDP professional can discuss, design and create advanced addressing and routing, security, network management, data center and IP multicast complex multi-layered enterprise architectures that include virtual private networking and wireless domains. It is important to know that to pursue CCDP you should first obtain the CCDA and CCNA certifications. Moreover, you should pass out Cisco Routing exam, Cisco Switching exam, Remote Access exam and Cisco Internetwork Design. You need to re-certify the program after every 3 years by passing the CCDP re-certification exam.

Candidates who have passed out this exam receive a CCDP certificate from Cisco and may display the CCDP designation on their business cards. CCDP forms the professional level of the Cisco Career Certification program.
