For a career in networking, it is a mandatory to have CCNA certification before you opt for higher level certification courses like CCIP. Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) is a Cisco Certified program and is an advanced level certification of CCIE. CCIP validates advanced knowledge and skills required to manage service provider infrastructures. CCIP curriculum includes IP routing, IP QoS, BGP, and MPLS. This certification is a professional certification covering the end to end protocols used in large scale networks. A CCIP professional is able to perform various tasks that include securing and managing the networking infrastructures for cost reduction and increasing the productivity. Moreover, a CCIP candidate can do installation, configuration, and operating the networking aspects that are carried out in complex level organizations with implementing the hardware, specific protocols and other high level requirements in the networking field. Qualifying CCIP is not a child’s play like other Cisco Certified Programs; it is a hard nut to crack and this is the reason there is a less number of professionals qualifying for the exam. The course requires a complete knowledge both practically and theoretically.
