C#

C# pronounced as “see sharp” was developed by Microsoft and submitted to the ECMA for standardization. It is a multi programming language and is one of the programming languages for the Common Language Infrastructure. This new language was created by a team of people at Microsoft directed by Anders Hejsberg.

C# is considered to be a simple, modern and object oriented programming language and the most recent version was released this year only on April 12, 2010 as C# 4.0
